Welcome to John’s Barber Shop, Bolton Ontario. We have been cutting hair here since there were only two barber shops in town. John Guaragna (founder) opened for business around 1969 when Bolton was a town of around 4,000 people. He started near the south-west corner of King and Queen and was there until 1979. We’ve been at our present location since around 1981.
Joe, Polly and Teresa are all licensed hairstylists. Joe started here in 1985. Polly joined us in 2018 and is in her 12th year in the hair business. Teresa joined us in 2019 and is in her 10th year.
